Solemn Mass in Colombia of Father Pedro Medina de Arteaga at the Los Cerros Gymnasium

This Sunday, August 13, we lived in the school a moment of deep joy and special gratitude to God, having in the oratory of Cerros the First Solemn Mass in Colombia of Father Pedro Medina de Arteaga, a graduate of the class of 2009, who received priestly ordination in May 2022 in Rome (Italy).

In addition to experiencing the Sunday Mass together as a family, it was an opportunity for many people who have been linked to our school over the years to meet again.

These kinds of special moments are very propitious for recalling the words of St. Josemaría in point 104 of Conversations: that people who give themselves to God owe ninety percent of their vocation to their parents, because they have known how to educate them and have taught them to be generous.

Let us continue to pray that Cerros will be a place where many vocations will germinate, and that our families will be more and more rooted in Christian love.
